Empowering Black Families Through Education & Community Support

Who We Are

Ujamaa, a Swahili word meaning extended family or brotherhood, reflects our values of solidarity and communal support.

We are a collective of elders and professionals committed to practical education and skill building for families, with a focus on American Descendants of Slaves (ADOS) communities.

Our goal is to provide individuals with the practical knowledge they need to succeed, and contribute to building healthier families and more vibrant communities.
